Just travel there with them and the switch back to your Sims at Home via the Away Action Option on your Sim at Home. You can also use this Holiday Homes for your Parents to spend the Weekend away for example. If a Sim is still on the Holiday Home Lot you can just Bring them there via the Away Action Options (Bring Sim here). If your Sims go to work they will go back to their Main Home. You can Hire the one Time Services like Maid you can do at home but the regular ones & Butler maybe do not work there.
